Joan F. Bachenheimer: Founding Principal

Since co-founding BBK Worldwide, Joan has used her energy to lead us to the forefront of the patient recruitment industry. Over the last three decades, she has shaped the field with healthcare communication innovations like our study franchise referral programs and global investigator network, and has continually kept BBK at the forefront of emerging market trends.

Joan co-authored the book Reinventing Patient Recruitment: Revolutionary Ideas for Clinical Trial Success, regularly contributes to key industry publications, and was selected by PharmaVOICE as one of 2005's 100 most inspiring people in patient recruitment. Joan has taught healthcare marketing at Boston University's College of Communication, and is currently serving on the Tufts University alumni board. Before co-founding BBK, Joan helped build Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center's acclaimed public affairs division.
